Josh Branville is the founder and CEO of North South Industries, a privately held parent operational company headquartered in Rapid City, South Dakota. He leads a portfolio of eight brands spanning encryption, cybersecurity, enterprise platforms, semiconductor manufacturing, logistics technology, and molecular science: VX Encryption, Entangleverse, VX CTRL, Dynamic Capacity, Load Guardrails, Unbroker, the PSI Chordis Foundation, and ECHORON.
Branville grew up in a lower middle class working family in Minnesota. He began his career at startup logistics firms and spent years in corporate logistics at the largest freight operations in the country before going out on his own. He has been an entrepreneur his entire life, owning businesses across multiple sectors.
In 2022 he launched North South Industries with partner Gene Grugal, aiming to draw on the talent pool near Ellsworth Air Force Base and bring technology jobs to the region. The company built a portfolio of supply chain technology brands, until the worst trucking recession since 2008 put everything at risk.
Unable to keep paying developers, Branville taught himself to code at 40 in early 2024, starting with Python before going all in on Rust. While experimenting with new ways to store data and cut costs, he discovered compression patterns he did not expect. Following them led him deeper into quantum mechanics, post-quantum encryption, and superposition theory, and by late 2024 to breakthroughs in quantum superposition and entanglement at room temperature.
In early 2026 he restructured North South Industries around that discovery. The company now holds more than 300 provisional patents protecting a complete computing paradigm from silicon to settlement layer, and remains entirely self-funded with no outside investors.
Branville married his high school sweetheart; they have been together more than 25 years and have three children, including twins.
